PAC FAQ
A Political Action Committee (PAC) is an organization formed to raise and contribute money to the campaigns of candidates likely to advance the group's interests.
Utah’s tech industry has been ignored by the state legislature for far too long. We need the collective power of the tech community to ensure a stronger voice and a better seat at the table when working with our state legislators. We can use the funds raised through our PAC to ensure that tech is appropriately represented within Utah politics.
Campaign contributions are one of the best ways we can support endorsed candidates with their elections. Combining the tech community’s resources will make a more meaningful contribution. Providing UTL with these funds allows us to evaluate candidates, spending time to get to know the candidate and what they stand for. Giving the tech industry a stronger voice in our state’s elections.
